Welcome to the new Talbert Pipes website!  As you can see, it has changed a great deal.  I was very happy with our old site, but it had gotten a bit sprawling and too large to easily keep up, with many sections which were years out of date - even some that dated back to the 90's!  It was also time to drop some sections, such as the no-longer-applicable "Life in France" area.  As much as anything, though, I simply wanted a new look - Something a little more visual, modern, and more "us".  So, here we are with a brand new site, ready to be filled with stock! The look may even be a bit of a flashback for long-time customers, since every iteration of the Talbert Pipes site prior to our move to France was green-dominant - It was only when we moved that we switched to the mostly-white look.

Please note:  Changes from the old site are actually minimal, mostly consisting of new graphics and the relocation of the menu to the top bar. The basic layout remains the same, with a Talbert Pipes section, Ligne Bretagne section, etc.   I've never really made enough Talbert Briars and Mortas for them to have two different catalogs, and with our morta output inevitably declining as we use up our remaining stock, I opted to roll them both into one catalog as "Talbert Pipes".  Ligne Bretagne remains, and of course the Goblins are still here, though their pages have gotten a drastic visual upgrade. This home page will serve as our news and information page, with handy info-bars in the sidebar to the right describing our brands and what we have to offer, for the aid of the new visitor. Below that is a Twitter box that continually updates with my Twitter posts on what's happening here, what I'm working on, and general chatter.

"Pens & Misc" is a collected catalog of our non-pipe creations, including handmade pens, tampers, handmade jewelry, and whatever else we happen to have in stock at any given time.  It also includes a link to our Cafe Press store for those interested in Talbert Pipes mugs, calendars, cards, etc.

The Gallery link leads to an online pictoral gallery of some of my favorite pipes from over the years.  This used to be hell to keep updated, so I have tried to roll it into a more manageable form in hopes of updating it more reliably.  The Blog link leads to our Pipe Blog, where you can read our ongoing articles and stories about things happening in the workshop and with Talbert Pipes. And that's all from me - Hope you enjoy the new look!
